BurnLinks provides tools to create, encrypt, and share one-time secrets via expiring links. Secrets are intended to be deleted after first successful view or expiration based on selected settings.

3. Eligibility and Accounts

• You must provide accurate account information and keep it up to date.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
• You must promptly notify us of unauthorized access or security incidents.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the service to:

• Violate applicable laws, regulations, or third-party rights.
• Transmit malware, harmful code, or content intended to disrupt systems.
• Attempt unauthorized access, probing, scraping, or abuse of the platform.
• Use the service for spam, phishing, fraud, harassment, or illegal activities.

We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms or misuse that threatens platform security, reliability, or legal compliance.

5. Your Content and Responsibility

You are solely responsible for the secrets and other content you submit, including legality, accuracy, and your right to share that content. You grant us a limited license to process and store content only as needed to provide, secure, and improve the service.

6. Security and Data Handling

We implement reasonable safeguards, including encryption and access controls, to protect service data. However, no system is completely secure, and you acknowledge there is always some risk in transmitting or storing data electronically.

7. Paid Plans, Billing, and Renewals

• Some features require a paid subscription.
• Billing is processed by third-party payment providers.
• Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled before renewal.
• Fees are non-refundable except where required by law or stated otherwise.
• You are responsible for taxes associated with your subscription.

8. Intellectual Property

The service, including software, design, branding, and related materials, is owned by BurnLinks or its licensors and protected by law. These Terms do not transfer ownership rights. You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer, or redistribute the service except as permitted by law.

9. Third-Party Services

The service may integrate with third-party providers (for example, payment, authentication, analytics, or infrastructure services). We are not responsible for third-party services and your use of them is subject to their terms and policies.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, BurnLinks and its affiliates will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data, or goodwill.

Where liability cannot be excluded, our aggregate liability for claims relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless BurnLinks, its affiliates, and personnel from claims, liabilities, losses, and expenses arising from your use of the service, your content, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.

13. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account immediately for violation of these Terms, legal requirements, security threats, or prolonged inactivity. You may stop using the service at any time. Provisions that should survive termination will remain in effect.

14. Changes to Service or Terms

We may update the service and these Terms from time to time. Material updates will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Continued use after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

15. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by applicable laws of the jurisdiction where our operating entity is established, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Any disputes will be resolved in the competent courts of that jurisdiction unless required otherwise by mandatory law.
